What is it?

Gourmet-Life is the region’s only ‘ethical’ dining card – Helping you the diner, support the region’s producers, by choosing to dine at all our specially selected venues who must source more than 20% of their a l carte menu ingredients from across the region (within a 50 mile radius where possible). By supporting these venues, and dining with them at selected times, you can enjoy 20% off your a l carte food bill. It’s as simple as that.

How does it work?

This is simple too...All you need to do is register on line today, or complete one of our forms soon to be available in many of the venues, we will email you a confirmation, informing you when you will receive your card through the post.

Once received, sign your individually numbered card, and dine to your hearts’ content, using our Gourmet-Life website to choose your venue.

Terms

All we ask, is that when booking your chosen venues, you call AT LEAST 24 hours in advance, inform them you are a ‘Gourmet Life’ diner, and book your chosen time any weekday Monday-Friday lunch or evening. Evening orders must be placed BEFORE 7.00pm,, and the venue request you be seated before 7.30pm to enjoy your meal. Why? Because this is the concession they make to enable you to enjoy their menus at these fantastic discounts – so they can also host other customers from 8pm.

How do I qualify for my 20% discount?

Simply order a MINIMUM of a main course each off their a l carte menu (excluding any promotional, or discounted menus). You can also order as many other dishes, side orders or any other foods as you desire, all enjoying 20% off when the bill comes. You do NOT however qualify for discount off drinks. Upon receiving your bill, you will also receive a ‘feedback’ request card which you will need to complete at the time of payment and hand in with your payment. 20% will then be knocked off your foodbill. How many can dine off one card?

Your card covers you from 1-6 diners at one sitting, all within the above guidelines.

What other benefits do I get for joining Gourmet Life?

Other than 20% discount at some of the region’s top dining venues, AND the clear conscience of supporting the region’s producers?

We will send you a monthly eshot updating you on new venues who have been selected to accept the card, as well as any special offers gourmet-E-vents which the venues are holding AND you will receive 20% discount off some of these events too, AND overnight breaks at some of the key venues which offer accommodation.

Exclusive invites, and offers – We will also inform you of some exclusive invites to gourmet-e-vents, as well as new seasonal updates, and news from the producers across the region – Seasonal Offers. Each season we will also be teaming up with the regional suppliers to offer you 20% off hampers, farm shops, farmers market stalls, and even wine.

How much does membership to Gourmet-Life cost?

FREE! Your 3 month trial entitles you to all the above benefits, for a period of 3 months as an introductory offer for registrations before the end of October 2008.
